Spring flew by and it's now officially summer.
I've moved in with Richard! I'm working full time and cherish my weekends more than ever and haven't been this deeply in love with going to bed early since forever. I am behind on Game of Thrones, though not by much (actually, only one episode) and I've started season one of Shameless. I want to binge watch it, but there just isn't time.
My weekdays consist of waking up in the actual morning (no more sleeping in!), getting my face and hair done, get dressed, maybe sneak in a quick breakfast, fill my giant bottle with ice cubes/water and another with chilled black tea ('cause I am obsessed with staying hydrated) and then getting to work on time, so I can open the studio. Then I work for eight hours like a normal person and head home afterwards to pig out, because I am totally ravenous by then so hopefully there's left overs. If there aren't, that means I get to make dinner with Rich. We also get to pack lunches for the next day. We'll watch an episode or two (maybe three if we're feeling rebellious) of something and we start getting ready for bed at 11PM, so I can fall asleep by 12:15AM and call it a night.
Somewhere during the week I'll do my nails and get all scary with charcoal clay face masks or a honey treatment, read a book from the public library, or just internet. Like I am now.
Weekends mean grocery shopping and running errands. But, I get to sleep in (!!!) and yes I still find time browse flyers, use coupons and price match. $20 a week on groceries that include meat, produce and staples like bread and eggs, not bad. Sundays are usually home days and with the weather being so sweltering hot, we spend it by the pool a lot of the time. I need to get some bronze on my stems. They're currently covered in bruises from running into heavy duty storage totes repeatedly. We grill a lot of the time, and I grill lots of extra veggies (eggplants, zucchini, seasonal stuff) to make pasta salad for work lunches.
So, that's that.
Small photo dump. I'm still around!
