Guess who's auto-immune disorder (Pemphigus foliaceus) decided to creep back into our lives?
Poor Tank. I took these photos mid-August and a month later, the signs started showing again. Unfortunately, we've gone through this about four times now and I've pretty much got treating this, down to a pretty strict routine.
Let's just say my sleep schedule is more turned around than usual and my bed is now Tank's home, where I've allowed her to eat on it. I clean her ears/face three times a day and follow up with medication. I cut my nails short, because I'm too tired to give myself my weekly manicure. It's also easier to apply cream. I don't want to accidentally jab her.
Baby blankets are everywhere! Thank goodness to the lady on FreeCycle who was giving away a huge stack of them and let me pick them up from her place earlier this year when Tank was having an episode on her back.
Send positive thoughts for my little panther, will you?
