This past Monday, I was invited to Passover seder with Rich's family. Everyone got together, we read from the Haddagah, drank and feasted!

My plate of karpas (celery dipped in salt water), charoset (a paste of fruits and nuts), maror (horseradish) and chazeret (lettuce). |

Quinao salad with green onions, cranberries, raisins and walnuts in a sweet and savory vinaigrette |
The ten plagues |
Kedem grape juice instead if wine for me |
Matzo + bitter herbs = sandwich |
We also ate a boiled egg (or two). Here is Rich's brother demonstrating the likeliness of his boiled egg with charoset to Rich's head and beard. |
Matzo ball soup! |
Rich's sister-in law had this genius idea of adding in sriracha |
..so I did the same and it was delicious. |
Food was passed around and I loaded up my plate with everything: quinoa salad, sweet and sour meatballs, brown rice, glazed chicken wings, sweet potato/pineapple casserole with marshmallows, apple kuegle, and slow roasted beef brisket. |
Yeah, I pigged out and it was amazing. Rich's mum makes the most amazing sweet and sour meatballs ever and I could have probably eaten the entire offering of it. Droooooooooooooooool.

We also had passover brownies and chocolate cake, frosting and all. |
After dinner and eating the afikoman (matzo) that was hidden earlier and then later found by the kids, we took his niece and nephew to the park. They climbed and played while I strolled rolled around trying to convince myself that I was going to somehow burn off the 20,000 calories I had just inhaled at dinner.

Met this pretty little one. She was shy and preferred to watch people from a distance. |
