Last week I was fortunate enough to score two free tickets to see the Toronto Maple Leafs play at the Air Canada Centre! I took my dad with me, as he and I are the only two in the family who bleed blue. We had a blast cheering for our home team and I'm so glad I brought my camera and my telephoto lens! (SHHH...we had seats in the 300's.)
Here are some photos I took during the game :)
Pre-game warm up.
Lots of stretching was had.
Lupul!
Phanuf always looking serious. (Mr. Elisha Cuthbert)
Anthems were sung and flags were waved.
Then the game started and...
...we scored (!!!) within minutes in period one- a wrist shot by Tyler Bozak!
Then another goal!
This time by Trevor Smith!
Fourteen and half minutes into period one, Phaneuf got a penalty for tripping.
The Minnisota Wild got a goal in, but then Mason Raymond scored our third goal not long after, making it 3-1 Leafs in the second period. Whoohoo!
Games and things to keep the crowd entertained during second intermission. The guy above won a bunch of goodies including a Leafs sweater!
Goalies in the net: Harding for Wild and Bernier in blue
Third period shuffling and dancing.
Then the best thing of the night happened.
Sure, it was awesome the Leafs were up 3-1, but as the third period was nearing the end, the Wild pulled their goalie. This is when Raymond got a hold of the puck, sped down the rink towards the goal and went to pass to Kessel.

We had a great night and I can't wait to go watch the Leafs play at the ACC again. Even if I don't there's still plenty of games left in the season and I guarantee you I'll be watching.
Thanks to Mr. Simmons for giving me his tickets and thanks to my dad for coming out with me!
