Happy Chinese New Year and welcome to the year of the snake! To celebrate, my family and went to dinner at Sam Woo Seafood Restaurant (my grandmother's favourite place) this past Saturday. The food is always consistent and the service is overwhelmingly friendly and attentive. Oh, the perks of being regular customers! Being that it was the Chinese holiday of the year, the restaurant was filled to the brim. They stuffed more tables into the dining area than usual so yes, while it was a little cramped, there was a pleasant atmosphere being that it was totally bustling and full of happy people!
Here's a look at what was on our menu.
