New ball of yarn. Thanks Michael's! I love your 50% off coupons. |
Where's the snow??There's less than two weeks before Christmas and there hasn't been a decent snowfall yet here in Toronto. I want a white Christmas, dammit.
Regardless, it's winter and it's been a bit chilly outside. What better way to spend an evening than to make cookies, knit and watch Rules of Engagement on re-run while they're in the oven. The house smells amazing and I've got a mug of black tea by my side to sip on. I can't complain; not even about snow (or lack there of)!

Vegan oatmeal raisin cookies |

...with only 2 tablespoons of oil for the whole batch! |

Trying something new. I added a handful of Reese's peanut butter puffs to the dough! |
|
White chocolate and cranberry cookies (again, only 2 tablespoons of oil!) |
|
We're kind of obsessed with these over here. I love them!! |
|
Texture. Crisp around the edges with a good chew towards the middle. |
|
Experimental cookies. They look...interesting, don't they? |

Making another infinity scarf, large but not oversized. |

Love the colours- cream with speckles of black, grey and tan |
Cookies were delicious. I've tweaked my recipe a little more and couldn't be happier with the results as it's basically one ridiculously versitile vegan dough that can be split to make various different kinds of cookies. Those oatmeal raisin cookies and white chocolate cranberry cookies where made from the same "mother" dough! I just added some oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg and soaked raisins to one. I think I might have to make a batch of classic chocolate chip soon....I kind of have a hankering.
PLUS I THINK SANTA MIGHT LIKE SOME TOO.
You know, the ones that I place near the faux fireplace with a glass of milk which may or may not be contaminated and/or violated by Tank during the night. Heh, heh, hehehheeeeee...!!!
