Nomnomnomnonmomgomg!! |
Our evening started with a snack. Not our snack, but this little guy's! He was just gnawing away at the pumpkin, filling up his little tummy, when I accidentally spooked him by knocking my lens into the glass door and then he ran away. Whoops. Cute little fella, he is.
When we arrived, Rich's nephew J hadn't carved his pumpkin yet, so we helped. Well, Rich helped while I stood back and took pictures!
J drew a face on the pumpkin. Y'know, pre-planning. Love those lashes! |
All the kidlets gathering around |
J scooping out pumpkin seeds (my favourite toasted!) |
Hi! |
He's got an audience |
There's most of them! I then proceeded to rinse them and get most of the goop off. |
"Muahaha!!! SEEEEEEEEEEDS!!!" Two hands! |
I ordered ask him to harvest every single seed. :) |
Older sister H and friend, prepping the seeds with salt and butter |
Back to the pumpkin. After a serious discussion on what to carve out (cyclops with lashes and a wonky smile) they carved away! |
Oven at 350F and in they went |
Cutting out the final touches |
J taking a peek inside, insuring that it would be perfect for the candles to sit in |
After the inspection and pulling out a clump of stringy goo and seeds, it was finally perfect! Done! Ready! |
Then we had a yummy pizza and wings dinner, proceeded by Halloween make up and going out to Trick or Treat. :D
