Did anyone pick up super discounted Halloween candy this year? I wasn't doing much hunting, but I've heard that there wasn't much or any on clearance. There have been years where you'd be able to score a box of 90 "fun" sized chocolate bars for a couple of bucks, but this year there was next to nothing. Perhaps retailers are sending them back to the manufacturer?
I did, however stop by my local Michael's where they had the last of their Halloween goodies at 75% the sale price. There wasn't too much left, but I stumbled across these little gems!
SPRINKLES!! The single 3oz/2.5oz jars were 69¢ each, the larger 3.5oz one being a little more expensive at 85¢ or something.
Wilton sprinkles: black and orange nonpareils, pumpkin mix (pumpkin cut outs and white, orange, black jimmies), jumbo bones |
Here's a close up. I think they're adorable! |
After some digging, I also found this set of three "coffin sprinkles" made by Wilton. At less than $2 for the pack, I coudn't pass it up!
Wilton sprinkles: neon green and black spiders, black sugar, black and white skulls |
The coffin packaging makes these even cooler. SO COOL. |
