Winston watching me watch him though the window |
I love out door kitty cat visits! Since I'm still behind on updating my blog, I share with you last, last weekends encounter with Winston, one of the neighbourhood's friendliest cats. He's usually seen strolling around the ravine or in the chilling yard and he is just one big ball of love.
Tank is still sick (she's better, but still not 100%. It'll take some time.) and isn't up for much any running around, so Winston and his sister Atticus will just have to do. It's not the same though. While I'm on the topic of Tank, she's got a bit of a mohawk going on. She's lost a lot of her fur around her hears and head, poor thing. I mean...I've always wanted a hairless cat, but not this way! It'll grow back but I don't think she wants me to take any photos of her anytime soon. I'm super happy that she's eating lots though!
Caring for a sick pet is what I imagine taking care of a new born baby is like. I'm literally up every couple of hours feeding her food, water through a syringe and making sure she's comfortable. Tank's taken the liking to sleeping on my chest/stomach. I'll be sitting on the couch and she'll stand on her hind legs with her paws on my knees wanting me to pick her up! And when I do, she'll make herself comfortable by putting her head on my shoulder. It's cute but seriously, working with one arm is hard!
